Richard A. Hagberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Hagberg, CEO of Hagberg Consulting Group, has coached leaders from some of the largest global organizations since 1979. He is well known for his expertise in leadership development and his research on company presidents, successful leaders, executive derailment and the coaching and mentoring process. He has been the personal coach to over 550 company presidents and CEOs. Dr. Hagberg is a popular and frequent speaker to presidents' and human resource groups on the topics of leadership and change.
Previously, Dr. Hagberg was Vice President of a major national outplacement firm, and a founder and principal of two regional outplacement firms. Both his work in outplacement and his current work with successful company presidents have given him a unique perspective on the personality characteristics and leadership qualities which differentiate those who succeed from those who fail.
A licensed psychologist, Dr. Hagberg earned his B.A. from UCLA and his Ph.D. from Washington State University.
