Paula Louise Chronister
Paula Louise Chronister is an organization change and development consultant with 16 years of experience working on the people side of organizational change. She has broad industry experience including retail, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, aerospace, high tech, banking and airlines. Her clients have included: Bank of America, US Air, Volvo, Ford, The Gap, PetsMart, Syntex Pharmaceuticals, and Hewlett Packard.
She has led a number of major culture and organizational change efforts. Her work has included defining new cultural traits for organizations and helping them put into place the actions that it will take to deliberately shape their cultures, implementing action plans to get results and developing skills and feedback processes to help leaders make the changes required of them. She has taught and designed leadership and management training in both industry and university settings.
Paula is a former Director in National Organizational Change Practice of PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She has authored a number of approaches to leading and managing culture change, redesigning organizations, developing and managing teams that perform in large-scale projects and designing teams as part of an organization redesign. She also was a co-developer of a method for integrating people, organization and information systems to get better business results.
Paula's executive development work includes programs with Ford, Syntex Pharmaceuticals, John F. Kennedy University and the University of Phoenix. Her focus has been on developing leadership and teamwork capabilities to get better business results. She has been facilitating executive teams for both development and business decision-making purposes for her entire career.
Paula is a graduate of University of Southern California, and holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Systems and Management. She has done post-graduate work at Columbia University in Advanced Organizational Development. She studied with Michael Hammer, Re-engineering the Corporation, Philip Crosby and Dr. Edward Deming in Total Quality and Proctor and Gamble in applying High Performing Work Systems.
