Ellen L. Shuck, MBA
Ellen L. Shuck, Senior Consultant, has over 15 years' experience in the fields of business management and psychology. Her management experience has focused on business development and strategic planning in the financial services and consumer products industries. At Chemical Bank in New York City, after working as a commercial lending officer in the Energy and Minerals Group, she became the Strategic Planning Assistant to the Executive Vice President of International Private Banking and helped to manage a successful turnaround of that business. Upon receiving her MBA, she became the Director of Market Development and Strategic Planning for a venture-backed specialty foods company in the Bay area, managing its growth from an unknown regional company to a nationally recognized and distributed brand.
Ellen’s psychology training has included significant research and publication in the areas of change and transition. She has also practiced as a clinician in the U.C. Berkeley Psychology Clinic. At Hagberg Consulting Group, Ellen researched, designed, and developed the Peak Performance sessions of the Executive Development Program. She has a strong interest and expertise in enabling her clients to maximize their potential and performance, thereby enhancing the organization’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives.
Ellen has a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College, an MBA from Stanford University, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
