Brigitte V. Kanter
Brigitte Kanter is a consultant in the field of organizational development, with a special focus on corporate culture. She has worked with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 20 organizations in a wide variety of industries, including high tech, pharmaceuticals, construction and consumer products. Clients include Hewlett Packard, National Semiconductor, Granite Construction, Artesyn Technologies, Calico Commerce and ProBusiness.
Ms. Kanter’s experience also includes 3½ years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), managing human resources functions including recruiting, training, assignments planning and benefits administration.
At HCG, Ms. Kanter assists organizations in the design and implementation of cultural assessment initiatives, including survey design, ideal culture formulation and culture change strategies. She regularly works with executive teams in aligning their culture and business strategies.
Ms. Kanter also plays a major role in HCG’s research and development activities. She assisted in the re-design and re-development of the Cultural Assessment Tool (CAT) and has done extensive research on organizational culture. Other research projects include studies on the "War for Talent" and the creation of a "Culture of Choice."
Ms. Kanter earned her BS degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California at San Diego and her MA in Educational Psychology from Colombia University.
